All entrants for this distance must be at least 12 years old.
Start and group times
Starting time: 16:15 (with subject to change).
Information about group times will be released closer to the event date.
Maximum time: 1 hour and 45 min.
Volvat Medical Centre and the Norwegian Peoples Help will be available with medical professionals in the main tent by the finishing line and by stations along the race in the Tøyen and Skøyen areas to handle any emergencies and medical needs.
Volvats doctors, nurses and physiotherapists have extensive experience within emergency injury treatment. All medical professionals attending have sports injury competence.

Getting your start number
In the week before the event you will be sent a start card to your registered email address. To pick up your start number you will need to show this card together with a valid form of ID. You can pick up your start number in the Sport and Health Expo / Information tent at Rådhusplassen.
If you are picking up a start number on behalf of someone else, you will need to show their start card and a valid form of their ID.

Baggage and storage
There will be storage facilities by the start area. Due to safety concerns it will only be possible to hand in the participant bags each runner receives when they pick up their start number. Large suitcases and other bags will not be approved for storage. Participants are asked to clearly label their bags with their start number. Please do not put valuables in your participant bags and arrive in good time as we expect some queueing.
BMW Oslo Maraton notes that any clothing or equipment that is not picked up will be given to the Fattighuset charity.
Food and drink stations
There will be food and drink stations placed along the run. More information will be released closer to the event date.
Toilets will be available at Rådhusplassen, the start area and by all drink stations. Give yourself extra time when the half marathon starts as queus are expected.
There will be pacemakers with signs on their back, and balloons over them, to make it easier for them to be spotted by those further behind.
Times: 60min, 50min, 45min og 40min.
Prizes and photography
All participants that complete a run in the BMW Oslo Marathon will receive a medal after the finish line. All class winners will receive prizes from our sponsors.
Marathon Photos is our official vendor of photos and diplomas during the event on Saturday. Smile to the photographer when you near the finish line and buy a memory for life on their website after the run.
