Sondre Nordstad Moen won the men's 10 km in the streets of Oslo
Sondre Nordstad Moen won the men's 10 km at today's BMW Oslo Marathon. His time was 28:29, a full 54 seconds ahead of second place.
Nordstad Moen, representing Bamford 1869, took the lead from the start - and held it for the rest of the race. He passed 5 km in 14:05, 20 seconds ahead of second place. Nordstad Moen ran in the 24-34 year old category.
Eivind Øygard from Jølster IL was second in the men's class. He came in with a final time of 29:22 in the 24-34 year class.
Third place went to Tommy Bangjord Hove from Bratsberg IL (class 24-34 years) in a time of 30:02.
- The conditions were good. I opened a bit hard, but it was fun to run here. There's always a good atmosphere here. I decided to run here on Thursday evening," says Sondre Nordstad Moen.
Last year, Trygve Feidje Mjelde from Osterøy IL won "10 for Grete" during the BMW Oslo Marathon in a time of 30:30.
Sigrid Jervell Våg from Tjalve was the fastest of the women on "10 for Grete" with a time of 33:36. Second fastest was Sigrun Gjølberg from Rygge IL with a time of 34:20. In third place overall among the women was Marte Lien Johnsen from Byåsen with 35:11.
