HOW TO REGISTER YOUR SESSIONS

There are 4 options you can use to record the sessions of your hatches. Here we explain how the various options work.

Registration of the session
When you have completed the number of kilometers required by today's slot, go to "my page" to register your slot.

Go to the relevant hatch and click on the hatch. Below the hatch you will find 4 options for how you can register the session, which we have explained below.

Remember that you must register today's gate before 23:59 on the same day to take part in the draw for today's slot!

A closed hatch has a loop over it, an opened hatch is without a loop and when you have registered your hatch, a new image will appear in the hatch showing that it has been completed.

Do you have any questions?

CONNECTING TO STRAVA

Before starting your session
Strava is an app that is free to use. You can download it to your smartphone and create a user account. You can also connect Strava to most GPS watches. Read all about Strava HERE

You log the session in the app or by using a GPS watch that you connect to the app. Start your session when you're ready to start, and stop when you've completed the correct number of kilometers for the day's slot. Attention - read important information at the bottom regarding breaks and stops.

Once you have completed the session
After finishing the session, you go to my page and register your session under the slot it applies to.

Choose option 1 and connect to your Strava account. A login window will now appear. Log in and authorize UltimateVIRTUAL app access to your account, then a list of your sessions will appear. Select the session that applies to today's slot and register your session.

If you do not want to use Strava but log your session using a GPS watch/Smartwatch or an activity band, you can use option 2 - Upload activity file.

Important information regarding registration of time
All sessions recorded are treated equally and analyzed on a fair basis. All result calculations are based on the measured time and measured distance provided by the device/app/platform you have used. If you have moved further than the number of kilometers required we will calculate backwards to your accumulated time at the time you completed the correct distance. If you have run shorter we will calculate forward on a fair basis based on your last pace, within a certain tolerance range. Therefore, it is important to note that we may process and evaluate your result differently than your device/platform provider; both in time and in distance completed.

The times are measured from start to finish. Any breaks / stops will not be deducted from your time.

Note: All results based on GPS activity / training devices are subject to human error and technically inaccurate measurements due to limitations on satellite / GPS tracking technology or surroundings during the race.

UPDATE ACTIVITY FILE

If you do not want to use Strava, but log your session using a GPS watch/smartwatch, an activity band or another app/platform, you can use option 2 - Upload activity file.

You log the session as usual. Start your session when you're ready to start, and stop when you've completed the correct number of kilometers for the day's slot. Attention - read important information at the bottom regarding breaks and stops.

When the session is complete, log in to "my page", click on the slot you want to register and choose option 2 - upload file.

Under this option, you can upload activity files in the following format; GPX, TCX and FIT. These file types can be exported from most devices or apps/platforms. Click the button that applies to your app/device/platform to learn how to export your activity file.

Can't find your app / watch / platform here? Try a search at support for your provider and / or google "* your device * + extract file".

Log in to "my page" and click on the slot you want to register. Press "register time manually". There you can enter the hours, minutes and seconds you have spent completing your hatch. When you have entered the time, press register.

REGISTER COMPLETED WITHOUT TIME

If you have problems with any of the other options or simply want to register that you have completed a slot without entering your time, you can press "Completed without time"

Log in to "my page" and click on the slot you want to register. Select "register completed without time" and complete the registration to complete the session.

ERROR IN YOUR RESULT?

If you think there is an error in the session you have registered, please read the information above carefully. GPS/activity and fitness devices are not a 100% accurate technology.
You can also use the option to register your session manually, this will overwrite the previously registered session.
