Sportycamp is organized by Sportsklubben Vidar and the Oslo Marathon, and is a fun and varied week filled with everything from traditional athletics exercises such as length, height, ball and 60 meters, to football, barbecue, quiz and various toys. Sportycamp is suitable for all children aged 6-13 years. You do not have to have played any sport to participate. The activities are mainly added to Bislett Stadium, but there will also be some excursions / activities elsewhere in the city.
The participants are divided into groups according to age and the program is adapted for each age group. The coaches of the camp are experienced and enthusiastic athletes.

Extra childcare will be arranged between 08-09 and 15-16 every day. This entails a surcharge of NOK 350 per week. More info will be sent out after the child is registered.
Everyone who participates in Sportycamp gets a free starting place for the Sporty Run, which will be held at Kontraskjæret on September 21, 2024. This is the same day as the BMW Oslo Marathon 2024 will be held at Rådhusplassen!
Below you can see what a week at Sportycamp can look like. It is a nice mix of both athletics, play and fun. The children get to try out different activities within athletics, and we end the week with an informal and fun athletics meet where the children get to feel the feeling of mastery.
The final weekly schedule for Sportycamp 2024 will be released closer to summer.
BRING THE CHILDREN AT THE BMW OSLO MARATHON!
The Sporty races are separate races for children aged 0-13. There are two races, the Sporty race for children between 6-13 years and the Sporty Mini race for children between 0-5 years. If you join Sportycamp, you get free registration for the Sporty runs!
The races are held at Kontraskjæret on the same day as the BMW Oslo Marathon takes place at Rådhusplassen in Oslo. In 2024 it is Saturday, September 21.
In addition to the races themselves, there will be an exciting activity area with various activities for the children. The activity area is free and open to everyone, both runners and the public.

Sporty Mini Race
This race is for children aged 0-5 years.
The race takes place at Kontraskjæret in Oslo on September 21, 2024, and the first race start is at 13:00 (subject to changes in the start time).
The trail is 100 meters. Children can run alone or with an adult.
Everyone who is registered will receive a race number before the race, and of course a medal when they cross the finish line.
The sports race
This race is for children aged 6-13 years.
The race takes place at Kontraskjæret in Oslo on September 21, 2024, and the first start is at 11:00 (subject to changes in the start time).
Children from 10-13 years run 1000 meters, and children under 10 years run 500 meters. All are divided into groups according to age.
Everyone who is registered will receive a race number before the race, and of course a medal when they cross the finish line.
