May Britt Dørum-Persen takes over as general manager for both SK Vidar and Oslo Maraton AS. Former general manager of the Oslo Marathon and Sports Club Vidar, Karen Kvalevåg, went to the position Secretary General of NIF on October 1, 2017. May Britt Dørum-Persen has a long career, among others. a. as CFO of one of Norway's leading law firms behind him. Dørum-Persen will take up the position as general manager on 23 November 2017.
-We are very happy to have May Britt on the team. Karen Kvalevåg made an incredibly good effort, and turned the event around so that the BMW Oslo Marathon made a good profit after this year's run. We are sure that May Britt will make an equally good effort and can lift both the event and the Sports Club, says chairman of the Oslo Marathon, Anne Grethe Solberg.
The BMW Oslo Marathon is about motivating for good public health, with joy and mastery in the center. This is a folk festival with distances for all levels and ambitions. A profit in Oslo Maraton AS goes back to SK Vidar, so that the club can arrange for training for its athletes.
