BMW Oslo Marathon offers free pads and tampons in collaboration with Herbox

BMW Oslo Marathon will be the first sports event in Norway to offer free pads and tampons! Saturday, September 16 will be historic. "We are proud to be the first, but also surprised. This should be a natural part of all events in the future," says race director Edwin Ingebrigsten.

This year, BMW Oslo Marathon has partnered with the Swedish company Herbox, founded two years ago by Hanna and Linn, two Swedish pioneers with a strong vision to make feminine protection available in public places. Together they have created a vending machine so that organizations and companies can easily give out free pads and tampons to their female employees without unnecessary waste.

During this year's BMW Oslo Marathon, there will be vending machines at the toilets at Rådhusplassen where you can get the product of your choice free of charge.

Even though half of the world's population needs pads and tampons, availability is very limited outside of stores. And it can be difficult to get to a retail outlet should the need arise during the BMW Oslo Marathon.

Herbox helps us maintain and focus on women's health even during such a large event. We are very pleased with this!
