Are you ready to make a difference while preparing for the 2023 BMW Oslo Marathon? Join the the Wings For Life World Run on May 7th, a unique global running event that aims to
raise funds for spinal cord injury research.
If you have signed up or are planning to run the 2023 BMW Oslo Marathon, participating in the Wings For Life World Run is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people, practice your pace in a competitive setting and get your running season started.
By participating in the Wings for Life World Run, you will be part of a global running community that is
passionate about making a difference. The event takes place simultaneously in over 100
countries around the world.
Do you live near Oslo? At Fornebu there will be a joint start and a 5 km loop with drink stations along the way. The timing is done via the app on your phone and unlike a regular race where you run a given distance, here you run at your own pace until you are caught by the virtual finish line.
Even if you are not in the Oslo area, you can still take part by running where you are using the Wings for Life World App Run. The app provides a unique running experience, allowing you to participate
the global race from anywhere in the world. It will also be possible to run with others in Bergen, Stavanger, Trondheim and Kristiansand (Locations - Wings for Life World Run). Here there will be a similar setup as at Fornebu, with a loop you run, joint start and
drink stations.

Step 3: Meet up at Fornebu or in one of the other cities, or put on your running shoes and run wherever you want on May 7th!
