Japanese Sakiho Tsutsui secured a clear victory in the women's half marathon during today's BMW Oslo Marathon. Already after 5 km she was 46 seconds ahead of the runner-up.
Sakiho Tsutsui ran in the 24-34 age class - and was the first to finish in the women's class. There was never any doubt as to who would emerge victorious from the half marathon distance. She came in at 1:13:04, and was almost six minutes ahead of second place in the half marathon in Oslo's streets.
Second place went to Tyrving runner Astrid Brathaug Sørset. She also ran in the 24-34 age class. The time at Sørset was finally 1:19:01.
In third place in the half-marathon distance came Runa Skrove Falch from SK Vidar in a time of 1:19:57. Falch also ran in the 24-34 age class.
