We are looking for a new colleague (project manager) for the next year

Pelle is going to be a big brother and will join his owner on leave. Therefore, we need a 100% committed and creative helper for the next year! This is a great opportunity to gain experience with one of the country's largest sporting events. 

You don't need to have a marathon on your CV to apply here, but we can promise you a high pulse with the small team in Oslo Marathon. Since we are a group that likes to do most things in-house, we need YOU to thrive in a hands-on role with many different tasks. We are looking for someone who is good at project work, oozes commitment and who also spreads good energy to the team. The temporary position starts as soon as possible and lasts until September 2024 in a 100% position. 

So, who are we?

The Oslo Marathon is one of Norway's largest exercise races, with over 20,000 participants each year. The race is held in the center of Oslo on the third Saturday in September. Although we only organize Oslo Marathon once a year, we work all year round to plan and facilitate Norway's largest street race, as well as producing a number of other events and activities.

We need a versatile potato who enjoys a varied workday with different tasks in a creative environment.

Your tasks: 

  • Project manager for profiling, life on the trail, Chill Zone, luggage storage, Oslotrippelen
  • Customer service
  • Administrative tasks
  • Logistics
  • Develop existing and new projects

You will also be assigned several projects related to the event. The position will be adapted to the candidate. We want to use YOU where YOU are good! Therefore, we would like to hear what your skills are. Maybe you can tick some of these:

  • Experience with design tools, e.g. adobe or canva
  • Project manager experience
  • Creative and innovative 
  • Good oral and written skills in Norwegian and English (this is required)
  • Think commercially and strategically (some sales experience perhaps?)
  • Structured and experience with planning tools
