Okubamichael Fissehatsion won the National Championships in half marathon

Okubamichael Fissehatsion from Tjalve was the fastest of all in today's half marathon for men during the BMW Oslo Marathon. Zerei Kbrom Mezngi from Skjalg took the silver in what was also the National Championships in half marathon.

Okubamichael Fissehatsion from Tjalve ran in the time 1:04:45 on the half marathon distance. The Tjalve runner moved around three to four kilometers before the finish line - and thus got his NM gold. Okubamichael Fissehatsion is trained by the former Tjalve runner Knut Kvalheim.

In second place overall came Zerei Kbrom Mezngi from Skjalg who ran in the time 1:04:54.

Number three in the men's half marathon was Senay Fissehatsion from Tjalve. He got the time 1:05:28. Thus, the Oslo club Tjalve got two among the three in the half marathon distance.

In fourth place overall came Gular runner Marius Vedvik with a time of 1:05:52. Eivind Øygard from Jølster took fifth place with a time of 1:06:35.
