You don't have to have a marathon on cven to apply here, but we can promise you a high pulse with the small team at Oslo Marathon. Since we are a group that likes to do most things in-house, we need YOU to also thrive in a potato role with many different tasks. We are looking for you who are raw in communication and project work, ooze commitment and who also spread good energy to the team.
Oslo Marathon is looking for a person in a 50-100% position. The vacancy rate can be adapted to characteristics and qualifications. The position is on a contract basis until 2023, but there is a possibility of a permanent position from 2024.
Our new addition to the marathon family has a burning commitment to social media and keeps up to date with digital trends. You have experience in content production and SoMe, are creative and skilled in photo and video production, and are good at project work. We need a versatile potato with a sense of humor who likes a varied everyday life with different tasks in a creative environment.

Your tasks:
- Plan and produce content for Oslo Marathon's channels
- Create commitment and get more people active
- Customer service at SoMe
- Responsible for Oslo Marathon's registration system
- Stay up to date on digital trends
- Responsible for advertising and marketing
- Responsible for analysis and insight into our channels
- Responsible for Oslo Marathon's ambassadors (existing and new)
- You work closely with our partners and carry out marketing activities together with our partners
- Project manager for running groups
- Newsletter
You will also be assigned several projects related to the event. The position is adapted to the candidate. We want to use YOU where YOU are good!
Nobody knows everything, but it's nice if you have some of these points in your luggage:
- Experience in preparing text, video and other content
- Project manager experience
- Good at content production for social media, and storytelling via images, text and video
- Good oral and written skills in Norwegian and English
- Experience with Adobe programs, Canva and video editing
- Experience with advertising tools is an advantage
- Updated with various marketing tools and digital platforms

About the employer
Oslo Marathon is one of Norway's largest exercise races, with over 20,000 participants each year. The race is organized in the center of Oslo on the third Saturday in September. Although we only organize the Oslo Marathon once a year, we work all year round to plan and organize Norway's largest street race, as well as producing a number of other events.
Oslo Marathon should be for everyone. That is why we work a lot with inclusion and low thresholds. We also want to take our responsibility within sustainability and therefore work closely with partners and suppliers for a greener Oslo Marathon.
