And there are good conditions during this year's edition of the BMW Oslo Marathon.
– There are optimal running conditions in the streets of Oslo today. Little wind and it will be around 14 degrees today, says race director Edwin Ingebrigtsen at Oslo Marathon.
Jack Waitz is also pleased with the state of affairs in today's BMW Oslo Marathon, which can point to record participation.
– There can be no better conditions for a marathon than today. Calm and a little drizzle in the air. Excellent. I don't remember it being sold out at all distances, as it is today, says Jack Waitz of Oslo Marathon.
This year, all distances are sold out and there are a total of 23,288 participants in the BMW Oslo Marathon. This is a new Oslo Marathon record. Last year, 20,100 participants participated. The Oslo Marathon started in 1981 and is now 43 years old.
