Winner of the NM in the men's marathon: Ebrahim Abdulaziz!

Ebrahim Abdulaziz won the NM in the men's marathon!

Ebrahim Abdulaziz from the Trønder club Strindheim was the fastest over the marathon distance during today's BMW Oslo Marathon in the capital. Thus he also became Norwegian champion in the marathon distance.

Abdulaziz crossed the finish line in 2:20:47. Not only was he the first marathon runner to cross the finish line. He also won the 40-44 age class.

- It was a bit difficult in the second round. A little wind also made it more difficult, said Ebrahim Abdulaziz after finishing the marathon. Ebrahim Abdulaziz originally comes from Eritrea.

The Strindheim runner led from start to finish in today's marathon. He passed 20 km in 1:04:89 and 30 km in 1:38:05. After 20 km he was over two minutes ahead of the second man.

In second place overall in today's marathon was Sebastian Conrad Håkansson from Svorkmo in a time of 2:23:57. He ran in the 24-34 age class. The same man also takes part in the "Oslotriple" of just over 73 km. In other words, he starts on the half marathon today, before finishing with 10 km.

Number three overall in today's marathon was Sweden's Anton Gustafsson. He crossed the finish line in 2:26:25. Gustafsson competed in class 24-34 years.
