Winning marathon women!

Hilde Aders won the marathon for women

Hilde Aders from Tromsø Løpeklubb was the strongest in the marathon distance for women during today's Danske Bank Oslo Marathon. The Tromsø girl ran in at the time 2:52:35.

Last year, Hilde Aders (K24-34) was number five during the Danske Bank Oslo Marathon. This time she felt it was easier.

-The feet felt far better this year than last year. I have trained a lot in the terrain - and not least with long cross-country runs. So I knew I had a lot of toughness, but I was excited about the speed in my body, says Hilde Aders.

The Tromsø runner was very pleased to win this year's edition of the Danske Bank Oslo Marathon.

-I almost do not think this is true. But the race went smoothly and well. I used my strength well, she says.

Ann Kristin Mosbron (K35-39) from Stavanger IF Athletics was second overall in the marathon distance. She ran in to 2:55:47. In third place came Elise Hay Opsahl (K40-44) from GTI in the time 3:00:35.

The track record for women is held by Marthe Katrine Myhre from SK Vidar in 2:44:43 and is from 2012.

Today's Danke Bank Oslo Marathon is the 36th time the event has been launched. The final number of participants is not yet clear, but 23,000 were registered before the Children's Marathon. Last year, around 2,000 participated

children in the Children's Marathon. This means that the organizer estimates around 25,000 for this year's edition of the Danske Bank Oslo Marathon.
