Winner of 10 km men: Trygve Feidje Mjelde.
Trygve Feidje Mjelde from Osterøy IL ran to first place in today's 10 km - "10 for Grete" - during the BMW Oslo Marathon. Mathilde Theisen from the organizing club Vidar was fastest in the women's class over the same distance.
Feidje Mjelde finished first of all with a time of 30:30 over 10 km. In second place in the men's class came Senay Fissehatsion from Ullensaker/Kisa in a time of 30:34. Third place went to Mathias Flak from Steinkjer Friidrettsklubb in a time of 30:35. All the first three raced in the 24-34 age class.
While the best male runner in a larger group passed 5 km in 15:28, Mathilde Theisen passed the first 5 in 16:45.
In the women's class, it was finally Mathilde Theisen from the organizing club Vidar who drew the longest, with a time of 33:17. Here Ine Bakken fa Gular was second with 33:43, with Sigrid Jervell Våg from Tjalve in third place in the 10 km among the women. She got 34:49. All the first three in the women's race competed in the 24-34 age group.
- I simply did not expect this. I thought they would come stronger from behind, says Trygve Feidje Mjelde from Osterøy IL.
Mathilde Theisen has been out injured for a long time. But in the Oslo streets she was back again.
- Great fun, and very fun to run again, stated Mathilde Theisen.
- This was the first time I ran in the Oslo Marathon. Great atmosphere around the trail. Fun, says Theisen from the organizing club.
