Oslo Marathon and SK Vidar need a new general manager. Today's leader takes over the role of Secretary General of the Norwegian Sports Confederation NIF. We are looking for a new general manager who is business-oriented, structured and solution-oriented and who likes to develop teams, work with other organizations and authorities.

The starting shot for the Oslo Marathon 2017 will soon be fired and at the same time we will start the search for a new general manager in SK Vidar and Oslo Maraton AS. Several former leaders have transferred to major national positions in other sports organizations and we are proud to be a facilitator for career development. Stable and predictable income from Oslo Maraton AS is a prerequisite for maintaining a high level of the sports offer to SK Vidars members.

Cost focus and doing good to others
Leading the Oslo Marathon and SK Vidar is not a solo race. The candidate we are looking for now must have a cost focus to ensure that all activities are carried out within approved budgets and ensure development in order to safeguard the service offering and profitability. You must lead a well-functioning team and must have the ability to collaborate and make others even better. You must have good execution ability.

Who is the right person for the job?
We are looking for you who have experience from management, broad financial and marketing skills and preferably experience with volunteer work. You are extra strong if you have experience of working with public authorities and organizations. There is a lot to be coordinated when the whole of Oslo is to be involved.

As a person, you are innovative and willing to change and handle many balls in the air.
