Torstein Bjerland won the Oslo triple during today's BMW Oslo Marathon. The Oslo triple consists of three distances; marathon, half marathon and 10 km. That is 73.3 kilometers.
Bjerland spent a total of 4:54:16 on the three distances. The marathon distance went away in 2:45:05. He ran a half marathon in 1:28:55, while the 10-kilometer went away in 40:16.
Gjermund Sørstad took second place on the Oslo triple with a total time of 4:57:41. He was thus 3:25 behind Bjerland after three distances on the same day.
Dutchman Henry Visscher was third with 5:13:07.
Best woman on the Oslo trip was Aud Elisabeth Stuhr with a total time of 5:51:36. She ran marathons in 3:13:44, half marathons in 1:48:53 and 10-kilometer in 48:59.
Tatiana Thiem from Loddefjordløperne was second among the women in the total time of 6:19:32. In third place in the women's class was Guro Skjeggerud from Romerike Ultraløperklubb with a total time of 6:20:36.
