For former athlete Christina Vukicevic Demidov, plowing means a lot. She has always been environmentally conscious, but the very plowing she got over when one day she went behind someone who unknowingly threw rubbish on the ground.
-Instinctively, I started picking up the garbage can, and I then began to notice how much garbage there was actually around me! I wanted to do something about this, and then found out that plowing was something for me. Now it means a lot to me to be able to help nature to remove all the rubbish throws away, as well as show others that plowing is both good for helping the environment, as well as for getting out into the fresh air and being active with, for example, their family. !
Tips for a plow session
Plowing is a great activity for the whole family, so if you have children or friends who have children, take them on a plowing trip! Good habits start at a young age. Children find it great fun to be a part of influencing in a positive way! So tie sneakers, bring a bottle of water and go out and plow!
Here is a tip for a session you can take with the family if you plow for an hour:
Every five or ten minutes, do the following exercises that you share with everyone involved in the plug-in:
10 squats
10 push ups
10 spenshopp
10 toe lifts
The group should have completed all the exercises, but you decide how much each person in the group should take!
PLOW AND WIN SNEAKERS!
You need this to plow:
- The Plogger app. Download it in the App Store or Google Play
- Plastic gloves, garden gloves, work gloves or similar
- Bags to have the waste in
By downloading and registering your trips in the Plogger app, you will automatically be in the draw for a pair of sneakers! The competition ends on June 14, and we draw three random winners on June 15. Click here to read the competition rules.
If you are part of an athletics club or a handball team, it may be worthwhile to download the Plogger app right now. Gjensidige is arranging a competition where you can take part in the draw for cash prizes of NOK 15,000, 10,000 and 5,000.
