Live Solheimdal from SK Vidar was the fastest in 10 km for women, also called «10 for Grete», during today's BMW Oslo Marathon. She ran in to the time 36:06. Solheimdal ran in the year class K 18-21.
-It was absolutely fantastic, with glorious running weather. For the first time I had to stop to drink. I've never done that before, but I was afraid of being dehydrated. The course was great, said Live Solheimdal after passing the finish line.
In second place overall in the 10-kilometer came Hanne Mette Sande from SK Vidar with a time of 37:09. True races in year class K 35-39. In third place overall in the women's class was Sigrid Jervell Våg (year class K 24-34) in the time 37:15.
In 2015, it was Karoline Bjerkeli Grøvdal (K24-34) who was the fastest in the 10-kilometer. She then ran in to the time 32:40, which was a new track record. She thus retains the track record by a solid margin.
