Project manager with main responsibility for communication and implementation of events in Oslo Maraton AS and Sportsklubben Vidar
The Oslo Marathon is Norway's largest and most important race event with around 20,000 participants each year. The race is held in central Oslo in September every year. Oslo Maraton AS stands for the values of community, quality of life and mastery. Oslo Maraton AS is wholly owned by Sportsklubben Vidar, which is one of Oslo's largest athletics clubs.
Responsibilities
Internal and external communication in Oslo Maraton AS.
Prepare goals, strategies and action plan for internal and external communication in Oslo Maraton AS
Develop and be the project manager for the Children's Marathon
Contribute to the professional implementation of the Oslo Marathon and be a supporter for the other project managers
Assist SK Vidar with the club's communication tasks - on the website and social media and necessary events under the auspices of the club
Tasks
- Prepare annual wheels for communication
- Plan and produce content for social media, newsletters and websites
- Produce relevant press releases throughout the year
- Responsible for leading customer service
- Follow up the timing system and compile statistics.
- Follow up partners related to the position
- Responsibility for media representation
- Project Manager Children's Marathon
- Assist SK Vidar with communication on the website and social channels
- Work closely in teams with the other employees
Qualifications and experience
- Preferably relevant education in communication and marketing. Relevant experience can compensate for education
- Experience from working with events and / or sports clubs
- Knowledge of digital tools and various social channels
- Experience in preparing text and content
- Good skills in Microsoft Office
