What is Extra Oslo Mini Marathon?
Extra Oslo Mini Marathon is a race for children between 0 and 13 years old. Children can choose between three distances: 100 meters, 500 meters and 1000 meters. The distances of 100 meters and 500 meters have registration where parents have the opportunity to run along. The race is not timed.
The Mini Marathon will be held at Kontraskjæret on Saturday, September 18, 2027.
This is the same day as the DNB Oslo Marathon, starting and finishing at Rådhusplassen, which is located right next to Kontraskjæret.
Come and play in the Minipark
The Minipark is a free activity park where children can jump on a trampoline, play on an airtrack, try out athletics exercises, participate in fun competitions, get face painting and much more!
In addition, magician Alexx Alexxander will also have a magic show on the Extra stage throughout the day.
Here we can promise a day filled with activities and sports fun for children of all ages.
The mini park is located at Kontraskjæret, the same place where the Extra Oslo Mini Marathon is held, and it is open from 10:00-15:00. See more information about the mini park further down the page.

New registration system 2027
New registration system for DNB Oslo Marathon 2027.
From now on, we will be using Haku as our registration solution provider. If you have attended one of our events before, the registration process will look a little different than what you are used to.
In the new system, you create your own participant profile when you sign up. You can use this profile for all future registrations for our events, so you can easily keep track of everything in one place.
The goal of the new solution is to make it even easier and more transparent to be a participant with us.

You can choose between 100 meters, 100 meters with parents, 500 meters, 500 meters with parents and 1000 meters. Choose the distance you think is right for your child. It will be divided into pools based on how many participants are registered.

We have a new registration system!
If you have participated in one of our events before, you may be familiar with "My Page". This solution no longer exists. We have received a new registration system from Haku, and when you registered for DNB Oslo Marathon 2027, you created a new participant profile.
Your participant profile can be used across all of our events. Here you can get an overview of your entries, see which other races you can enter, and make simple changes to existing entries.

Pick up your bib
On Thursday and Friday, September 16th and 17th, all children can pick up their starting numbers at Expo.
On Saturday, start numbers can be picked up at a separate tent at Kontraskjæret (right next to the Extra Oslo Mini Marathon course).
If you have the opportunity, we recommend that you pick up your start number on Thursday or Friday as there may be a lot of queues on Saturday.

On Saturday, September 12, all participants at the Extra Oslo Mini Marathon will pick up their start numbers at Konstraskjæret in a tent marked "Startnummerutdeling". The tent is open from 10:00-14:30.

The Extra Oslo Mini Marathon is held at Kontraskjæret in central Oslo.

Safety
Collection of children in the target area
The children must be picked up from the target area by a guardian. On the start number, there is a piece of paper that parents must tear off and take care of while the child runs. This note must be shown when the guardian is to pick up the child in the target area. This is for security reasons, so we know that the child is safely delivered to the right person.
Guardians are responsible for their own/own children in the area.
In need of health care
Norwegian People's Aid is present at the arena and can help if someone is injured or beaten. Contact the volunteers on site or directly with Norwegian People's Aid.
If it is critical, call 113.
Nursing and breastfeeding tent
In the Minipark, there is a separate changing tent with a changing mat where you can change your child or breastfeed in peace and quiet.
Look for the tent marked "storage tent", you will find it behind the start number distribution area.
Do you want to join Sportycamp?
Sportycamp is the coolest camp of the summer at Bislett Stadium. It is a fun and varied week filled with various athletics exercises, ball games and games. The camp is suitable for all children aged 7-13. You do not need to have played any form of sport to participate. The children can join from Monday to Friday at 09:00-15:00. (Parents do not need to be present).
