Event coordinator / project manager Oslo Marathon

The Oslo Marathon is looking for a skilled and structured person with an interest in sports and events.

You are an independent person with experience in logistics and events. You are structured, not afraid to take on a roof, and have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office. We are looking for a person who is punctual and can prepare detailed plans.

Tasks:

  • Responsible for Expo (Sports and Health Fair)
  • Logistics manager. This means, among other things, identifying needs for products and transport, as well as following up product orders.
  • Project coordinator for trail and volunteers.
  • Administrative tasks

The tasks will be adapted depending on the person being hired.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant education
  • Understanding economics
  • Excell, powerpoint and word
  • Project manager experience
  • Event experience

About the employer
The Oslo Marathon is one of Norway's largest exercise races and is held from 14 to 16 September 2017. The Oslo Marathon has been held since 1981, with an increasing number of participants. The event is for everyone, regardless of ambition and physical level and we want to get people active. The Oslo Marathon has the distances «3 for all» (3 km), «10 for Grete» (10 km), half marathon and NM half marathon, marathon, Oslotrippelen (73 km), Barnas Maraton and Racing Wheelchair (11 km). For all distances there are separate classes for the Disabled.
