The sound of a sustainable future!

The Oslo Marathon and Franzefoss have a common environmental focus

A greeting from Franzefoss to all participants in the BMW Oslo Marathon Virtual Editon.

Due to Covid-19, 2020 will also be a different year for the Oslo Marathon. It will not be like last year, with almost 19,000 participants along the trail in Oslo City, and a bustling crowd. However, it will be a digital event and we at Franzefoss hope that as many as possible will participate in this year's alternative, the BMW Oslo Marathon Virtual Edition. Franzefoss is also this year a proud sponsor, and we encourage you to continue the trend of keeping the Oslo Marathon as clean and environmentally friendly as possible.

When you are out on your race on September 19, we hope you remember to throw any waste from your trip in the right place. This time we are not physically present to make sure that everything that is thrown away is handled in a correct and good way. Therefore, we encourage everyone to contribute so that there is no waste on the ground after the event, whether you are in the field or in the city - take care of the environment.

It is good to be able to announce that in 2019 we helped to make the event more environmentally friendly than ever. This is very inspiring for further collaboration and new events. Proper and good treatment of waste provides increased recycling and a great environmental benefit.

When the Oslo Marathon can hopefully arrange as usual next year, we are there again to take care of this part in the best possible way.

So far, we wish all participants good luck with the run, it will be very exciting to see the participation and commitment on this year's virtual version!
