It is the perfect distance if you want to try participating in a race for the first time, and remember: It does not matter the distance you participate in, you choose your own pace, and you can walk, jog or run – it’s up to you!

Are you a fast runner looking for a fast track? The 3K is the perfect distance! Maybe you can celebrate new years eve with a new personal best?

    The Christmastrees Racing 3K

In this year’s BMW Oslo Marathon Virtual Edition, we launched a new wheelchair distance: 3K Racing!
Now we offer both a 3K and 10K wheelchair racing as a distance in our virtual races, and this makes us very happy!

Are you a beginner, or maybe you think 10 km is too far? We hope the 3K Racing is a distance you want to try!

In our virtual races we have no rules telling you which weelchair you are allowed to use when particiapting. But please be ware of your safety, and do not put yourself in any danger.

    Age limit
The 3K Racing is open to everyone, there is no age limit in our virtual version.

  • PEPPERKAKEMILA (10K)

    Gingerbreadmile 10K

A 10K is a distance that most people can overcome. Find a trail you love or think is nice in the winter, or maybe a trail that is flat and fast if you are hunting records.

If you do it in your own pace, this is a distance everyone can manage. Remember that you can walk, jog or run, and there is no maximum time limit. Have fun when you run and enjoy the fresh winter air (if you live in winter country).

Running a half marathon can be a big challenge, but with the right training this is a distance that is managable for most people.

Half marathons require less training than marathons, and there is a lower risk of injuries. This is most likely the reason why this distance has become so popular, and is the most popular distance in the BMW Oslo Marathon in Oslo in September with almost 11.000 participants.

The Half marathon is also a great distance to try, for those aiming to complete a marathon in the future.

  • SNØMANNATON (42,2K)

    Snowmannathon 42,2K

The full marathon is a distance that can be a big challenge for many. A marathon is 42,195 meters long, and requires a lot of your body both physically and mentally.

This distance gives you the opportunity to test your own limits, but in the end you may be rewarded with a fantastic feeling of what you have achieved when you cross the finish line.

    Age limit
To sing up for the marathon, you must have turned 18 years or older

  • JULETRIPPELEN (73,3K)

    The Christmas Tripple 73,3K

In our event in Oslo, the BMW Oslo Maraton, our participants who sign up for the triple run each distances separately – but, in this virtual race, the christmastriple must be completed in one go! You have to run 73.3 km from start to finish without stopping or pausing your tracker for timing.
