How to record the time of the 17th mairaton?

Are you a competitive person, or do you just run because you think it's fun?

At the 17th marathon, you can choose whether you want to register your time, or whether you want to complete and only register that you have participated.

If you want to register your time, you can do this using a heart rate monitor or app on your phone. The apps that can be used are Strava or Endomondo, and you can use them with or without a watch. You can download and use both apps for free

After completing the race, you have two choices:

  • Do you want to register your time? Log in to "My page", and register your time through Strava, Endomondo or by uploading a GPX file from your heart rate monitor.
  • If you do not want to register your time, log in to "My page" and press the "complete" button. Then you register that you have participated, but no time will be registered for your participation. (You will then not have the opportunity to compete for 1st place in the distance you participate in.)

NOTE:

We have received messages from several people who use Endomondo that they are not allowed to upload the time. Some have done so when they have changed device, and used a PC instead of a telephone or vice versa. Have you also tried using different browsers?

Competitions:

Those who register time and win their distance will receive a prize. There will also be random winners drawn among everyone who is registered, in addition to competitions on our social media.

Deadline:

The last deadline for registering the time / completed race is Tuesday 19 May at 23.59.

Are you a competitor? Or are you running just for the fun of it?

Participating in the 17. mairaton you can choose if you want to register your race time, or just register that you have finished.

To register your race time, you need a workout watch or an app on your phone. The apps compatible with our registration system is Strava or Endomondo. Both apps are free to download, and they can also be used as an alternative if you do not have a watch. It could be a good idea to do a test run with your app, to make sure it functions correctly before 17. mairaton.

After you have finished your distance on the 17th mairaton, you have two choices:

  1. If you want to register your time, log on to “My page”, and register your race time through Strava, Endomondo, or by uploading the GPX file from your workout watch.
  2. If you do not want to register your time, log on to “My page” and click on the button that says “Finisher”. You will be registered as a finisher, but there will not be a race time registered to your participation. (By Choosing this alternative you will not be in the running for the 1 st place on your distance).

The 1 st place on each distance will the receive a prize. We will also pull random contestants who will receive cool prizes, and we have many fun competitions in our social media channels where everyone can join.

Hipp Hurray! This is going to be so much fun!
