Helena Hope won the women's marathon!

Helena Hope from the Stavanger club Spirit Athletics Club won the women's marathon during today's BMW Oslo Marathon.

Hope crossed the finish line in 2:51:43. She ran in the K24-34 class. Hope had a tough time towards the end, but won by over four minutes over the second place.

– Yes, I'm very happy to finish. It was just a matter of keeping my legs going at the end, says Helena Hope.

The second woman to cross the finish line was Anne Årrestad from Sportsklubben Vidar. She finished in 2:56:00. Line Askheim was the third woman to cross the finish line in 2:59:08.
