Folkefest in Oslo city

There are only two days left until the BMW Oslo Marathon kicks off and a folk festival is expected in the city of Oslo. As of today, the event has over 21,500 registered, but registrations are still ticking in every minute.

- We notice the largest increase in the class 25-29 years which has a 16% increase from last year. As for the different distances, marathons increase the most by 21% from last year. Half marathon is 18% while 10 for Grete is 15% increase from last year, says communications manager Stine Hartmann who is very happy with the registrations.

- There is no doubt that the running wave is back in full force in this country, and especially among young people. The focus on running in the Norwegian media probably has a lot to say, and with the enormous achievements of the Ingebrigsten brothers, Therese Johaug and Sondre Moen, many young people are probably inspired to run.

The triple is also a popular distance. Where the BMW Oslo Marathon had a maximum ceiling of 120 last year, this year we have increased this to 140 after a large increase.

People often change distance in these times, which means that marathons that were fully booked will be open to more people. This also applies to the triple, which has few seats left.

Plowing and sunshine

This year's plow distance will also be a very pleasant experience for all the plows, where after the plowing they will be invited to an exclusive boat concert with a GREAT Norwegian artist. Worth getting along!

Sign up for plugging here!

Great weather is also expected (up to 20 degrees) so we recommend everyone to read this case .

Although there are still more places left in all distances, we can not guarantee a race place if you sign up at the last minute as more distances fill up quickly now.

We look forward to a folk festival for both runners and the public!

And with over 20 lives in the trail stations, we guarantee a party in the city of Oslo! We hope more people will take the trip down to Oslo city center this day, and join the party, says Stine Hartmann.
