The last time the Oslo Marathon arranged the NM Marathon was in 2018, and then Ebrahim Abdulaziz (2.19.27) and Marthe Katrine Myhre (2.46.48.) Ran away with the victory. This year we are looking forward to another year with fast runners, and here you can see the list of those who are registered for the NM Marathon 2022.

According to Kondis , it seems that the best winning time for men in the NM marathon is 2.14.33. The record belongs to Svein Arve Pedersen and was set in 1980. It should be said, however, that in the 80s, control measurements of trails had not yet begun, and virtually all trails that were control measured turned out to have been too short.

Best winning time for women seems to be 2.38.32, set by Brynhild Synstnes in 2001 during the Midnight Sun Marathon in Tromsø. However, this trail was measured and long enough.

There are still a couple of months left until it breaks loose on Rådhusplassen, and it remains to be seen if there will be any quick favorites who compete in the NM Marathon on Saturday 17 September.
