Asle has this in his running bag

We are in the autumn season and the temperature has started to drop. It is therefore advisable to check the weather forecast before a long run, and pack the running bag after this. If you pack the bag correctly, this can help prevent any unfortunate events.

There are many lightweight bags specially made for running. You almost do not feel that you have them on your back, says Asle Stenseter. His bag is always packed with this equipment:

  • Plastic bag to wrap these clothes:
  • Thin windproof jacket, to pull on the outside of the running jacket.
  • Thin windproof trousers, to wear on the outside of the tights.
  • Thin hat. Keeping your head warm is good first aid.
  • Thin gloves. Asle himself uses some with windproof features. And it's nice if the gloves are the kind you do not need to take off to use your mobile phone.
  • An energy bar or chocolate.
  • Compress, which can be used to stop bleeding, wrapped in a pair of disposable gloves.
