BMW becomes title sponsor in the Oslo Marathon!

BMW Group Norway continues its collaboration with the Oslo Marathon for 3 years - and now raises the sponsorship to title level. The race party will from now on be referred to as the BMW Oslo Marathon.

-We have had a very good collaboration with the Oslo Marathon for several years, and we are concerned about visibility where we enter as a partner. By raising our commitment to becoming a title sponsor, we will strengthen our presence both before and during the capital's largest race event, says Christian Gottschalk, Marketing and Communications Director at BMW.

The BMW Oslo Marathon annually gathers around 24,000 runners divided into the distances marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 3 km and 73 km. New this year is the Triple Team, which enables teams to register for the distances marathon, half marathon and 10 km.

In addition to the various races, the organizer has a goal of also giving something back to the city, by coordinating more than thirty cultural elements that are placed around the trail. This for the benefit of the runners, the audience and Oslo's residents.

-We are fully working towards the BMW Oslo Marathon in the autumn of 2016. The fact that we have brought BMW with us to consolidate our position as this autumn's race party in Oslo city, we take as a sign of quality for the event and the participants that we reach the third weekend in September, says marketing and communications manager in the BMW Oslo Marathon, Cathrine Stensaker.
