Oslo Marathon Week is a collaboration with Runners World Norway and Springtime Travel . The training week, which is from March 21 to March 28 , is for everyone, but there is extra focus on running! Both beginners, exercisers and elite runners will enjoy this week, which is the perfect start to the 2020 season!

Instructors of the week

Instructors who are already in place are tour guide Sara Skarabot Pedersen, head coach Andreas Grøgaard (third place in the Oslo Marathon!), Area manager Odd Blakkisrud, and the team from Team Stockholm Marathon. Several instructors will be announced in due course, and those of you who are registered will also have a separate Facebook group where we share relevant information until departure. Something for everyone

Training for everyone is one of the core values of Springtime, which is also compatible with the attitude to Runner's World and to the Oslo Marathon. Whether you prefer to run your long trips at a speed of 7 or 4 minutes per kilometer, you will feel at home at the Training Camp in Monte Gordo. We adapt the training for the participants, and make sure that you get the sessions arranged so that you can look forward even more to this autumn's big goal, the BMW Oslo Marathon ! A little insight into where we are going:

This is a typical day at a training camp

We will make sure that you get trained as much or as little as you want, and also plan for recovery between sessions. Tour leader Sara Skarabrot Pedersen describes a week at camp as follows:
- Half-tired faces meet outside the hotel in the seven-lane, some have chosen to sleep, others have chosen to start the day with yoga. We who trudge out will make a leisurely morning walk at sunrise on the beach. A quarter of an hour of running / gogging / walking to the east, and a quarter of an hour back with the sun in the back. Then we gather at Springtime's platting on the beach for some dynamic stretching before we are more than ready for breakfast. In the morning you can choose from a number of different sessions, or you can stroll along the boardwalk, relax in the sun and get ready for the afternoon running session.
These sessions are varied and level-adjusted - everything from long long trips, downhill sessions, speed play and intervals both on and off the athletics track. Right next to the hotel is a nature reserve with wide, easy-going gravel paths. Great for running! After the running session, you can choose to end the training day with, for example, yoga, or jump straight into the sea or the shower before dinner. Springtime has its own dining room at the hotel with its own chef, so there is no danger that you will not get enough refills after all the training. The evening is used for interesting lectures in the conference hall or mingling in the hotel bar.
And do you wonder if you can travel alone on a trip? Tour guide Sara Skarabrot Pedersen can confirm that this is entirely possible! And yes, maybe you get to know even more then?
- I have mostly traveled alone, but always ended up with fantastic acquaintances. And it's strange how well known you become after a week together. It's really nice to meet them again on the starting line throughout the season!
