The Children's Marathon has now changed its name to the Mini Race for children, which is 0-5 years, and the Sports Race for those between 6 - 13 years!
The races still take place at Kontraskjæret, the same day as the BMW Oslo Marathon. The same distances apply, 100 meters for the youngest and 500 or 1000 meters for the oldest. Children who are already registered will be moved to the race that belongs to the child's age.
In addition to the races themselves, there will be an exciting activity area with various activities for the children. The activity area is free and open to everyone, both runners and the public. Here you can test out various athletics exercises under the auspices of SK Vidar. The learning workshop Idrettsbarnehager presents various fun activities, such as obstacle course and face painting. The activity area is open from kl. 10: 00-15: 00 on Saturdays.
