Audun Bakke fastest in a wheelchair

Audun Bakke from Norwegian Toboggan Hockey was the fastest in a wheelchair during today's BMW Oslo Marathon. Audun Bakke got the time 31:37. The distance was 11 km in the capital's streets.

In second place overall, Emil Kirstistuen from Norwegian Toboggan Hockey followed in 32:27, while Knut Herrem from Ridderrennet was number three in this year's edition of the wheelchair race. Herrem got the time 33:02.

The fastest woman was Lena Schrøder from Norwegian Tobogganing. She did away with the distance in 32:06.

Audun Bakke from Norwegian Tobogganing had a dramatic start to the race.

-The spike smoked right away and then I thought it was over, says Audun Bakke.

But it worked out for the winner, who had to borrow a stick from the competitor Emil Kirstistuen.

-I will celebrate by relaxing at home, says Bakke.
