BMW Oslo Marathon and Oslo university hospital HF signed a cooperative deal in June 2015. The intention of the deal was to cooperate regarding physical health and increased quality of life through physical activity. Both parties ambition is to promote physical activity for everyone.

  • 29.09.2016 – 31.12.2016: 330kr
  • 01.01.2017 – 31.03.2017: 380kr
  • 01.04.2017 – 12.09.2017: 430kr

All entrants for this distance must be at least 10 years old.

Family Sign Ups

In the “3 for all” distance you can also participate with your family. During sign up, simply click on “Family Sign Up” and you will receive a 100 kr discount on each runner! Valid for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 7 runners.

 

Start and group times

Starting time: 19:10 (with subject to change).

Information about group times will be released closer to the event date.

Safety

Volvat Medical Centre and the Norwegian Peoples Help will be available with medical professionals in the main tent by the start and finishing line to handle any emergencies and medical needs.

Volvats doctors, nurses and physiotherapists have extensive experience within emergency injury treatment. All medical professionals attending have sports injury competence.

Getting your start number

In the week before the event you will be sent a start card to your registered email address. To pick up your start number you will need to show this card together with a valid form of ID. You can pick up your start number in the Sport and Health Expo / Information tent at Rådhusplassen.

If you are picking up a start number on behalf of someone else, you will need to show their start card and a valid form of their ID.

Baggage and storage

There will be storage facilities by the start area. Due to safety concerns it will only be possible to hand in the participant bags each runner receives when they pick up their start number. Large suitcases and other bags will not be approved for storage. Participants are asked to clearly label their bags with their start number. Please do not put valuables in your participant bags and arrive in good time as we expect some queueing.

BMW Oslo Maraton notes that any clothing or equipment that is not picked up will be given to the Fattighuset charity.
