Plogging for charity

Want to do a good job for the city of Oslo while you are active? During the Oslo Marathon you can participate in plowing 10 km! This year, as last year, we want to focus on the environment, and have Gjensidige as our main partner on this distance. With the plow distance , you contribute to less littering in the capital, and we hope that many want to make the capital a little cleaner this day!

- Plogging is a great way to be active, at the same time as you get a good conscience by clearing the streets of Oslo this day, says Stine Hartmann, communications manager in the Oslo Marathon.

Plogging for charity

The distance costs NOK 100, - and here you choose which charity you want to donate money to, Active against Cancer or Right to Play.

At the plow distance, everyone is given plow bags from Mutual as well as gloves, and you get a maximum time of two hours to complete the mile. Here, however, time is not important, but to collect as much rubbish as possible along the trail. The bags must be delivered to the destination, where the waste will be sorted. There will be no timekeeping at the distance. Everyone who reaches the finish line within the maximum time with a garbage bag is a winner!
