NEWS! THE 17TH MAIRATON GOES OVER 4 DAYS!
May 17 is Norway's national day, and normally a day Norwegians celebrate together with a big party, music, joy and May 17 train.
Due to the coronavirus, the celebration in 2020 was without long trains and large gatherings of celebrating people.

Sign up for the 17th mairaton here!

Last year we contributed to the May 17 celebration with our virtual race, the 17th marathon, and invited everyone to dress in red, white and blue! The goal was to spread joy, a feeling of mastery and community, and give everyone a fun alternative to the celebration of National Day.
We have decided to continue with this, and will this year arrange another 17th mairaton!
The BMW Oslo Marathon and May 17 have one thing in common - it's a folk festival! Everyone is welcome to participate, and you can run anywhere and anytime. Sign up and register your race when you have completed one of our distances, and you will be in the draw for great prizes. The winner of each distance will of course also receive a prize.
