Kirsti Skåtøy won the Oslo triple

Kirsti Skåtøy from Egersund went to the top of the Oslo Triple during today's BMW Oslo Marathon. The Oslo triple consists of three distances; marathon, half marathon and 10 km. That is 73.3 kilometers.

Skåtøy did away with the three distances in 5:58:50 and won in front of Lena-Britt Johansen from Lofoten Ultraløperklubb who used 6:41:22 on the three distances. Wenche Johnsen, also from Lofoten Ultraløperklubb, came third in the time 6:56:21.

On the men's side, Sebastian Conrad Håkansson from Drammen was best with a time of 4:40:27 after a very strong finish in the 10-kilometer. Torstein Bjerland finished second with 4:41:36. In third place came Magnus Warvik from NTNUI Athletics in 4:47:52.

115 runners got a place on the Oslo triple this time.

The men's track record on the Oslo Triple is held by Sebastian Conrad Håkansson in 4:35:41 from 2014. The women's record is held by Aud E. Stuhr from 2017 in 5:51:36 from 2017. Both records stood after Saturday's Oslo triple in the capital's streets.

A total of just under 19,000 runners participated in the Oslo Marathon today. Runners from a total of 62 countries participated.
